Jimin has become a hot topic among Brazilian gamers after the BTSxFree Fire collaboration, illustrating his impact as the face of K-pop and Global It Boy.
On the 28th of February, BTS was announced as the global ambassador for the widely popular game Garena Free Fire. The game successfully crossed 1 Billion downloads on the Google play store as of July last year. The partnership will include an in-game event slated for March, and it will see the band enter the world of Free Fire. Speaking at a press release, Harold Teo, a Producer at the company, said that the collaboration would offer players more ways to engage with the game, socialize with the community and enjoy new experiences, something that fans are already excited about.
